Area Manager
DCK is one of the world\βs leading fashion jewellery companies, working with many well-known retailers and high street fashion brands. Some of our hosts include River Island, M&S, Matalan, Tesco and many more!
We are currently recruiting for a Area Manager on a permanent, full time basis to cover the following locations β
Doncaster, Pudsey, Leeds City Centre, Ellesmere Port, Handforth Dean, Manchester Trafford Centre, Manchester, Liverpool, Warrington, Sheffield Meadowhall, Preston, Bangor NW
This is a Monday β Friday role working 7 hours per day. You will be required to travel around to numerous different stores within your area so please ensure you have access to your own vehicle and have a full driving licence.
Responsibilities

To drive sales through consistently high visual merchandising & operational standards

To develop & maintain a highly capable team β providing induction, coaching & support to ensure the Team Leaders are set up to succeed.

To act as first line support to the Operations Team to support & deliver process efficiencies & business improvement opportunities.

To directly line manage a group of Team Leaders, coaching them to achieve process efficiency & high-quality standards in the field

Monitors instore standards, sharing best practice amongst the TLs raising the bar on area performance.

Manages escalated host concerns around quality & standards, resolving these within agreed parameters.

Proactively identifies TL performance improvement opportunities β providing coaching & escalating as required.

Holds responsibility for induction β ensures all new TLs receive a warm welcome into the business & are supported throughout their probation period. Provides meaningful feedback & targets for improvement where required.

Embeds an effective buddy system meaning that any new TL starters or a period of TL absence is not reflected in adverse zone performance or poor feedback from hosts.

Recognises & celebrates great performance.

Works with other Area Managers & under the direction of Central Support Teams to identify trends in learning & development gaps & escalates where necessary.

Suggests opportunities to drive improvement & efficiency & is actively involved in any improvement work or project.

Supports the BOMS with delivering field coms, launches and initiatives and obtaining meaningful feedback.

Works as first line support with the Operations team to embed new ways of working, identifying areas for process & quality improvements & shaping action plans.

Works under the direction of the Operations Manager to shape & deliver communication & training.
Requirements

Expert in field operations, achieving high standards in their current role.

Supervisory experience

Strong communication skills β confident with delivering training.
