We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Electrician/Operations Lead to join DCI Electrical Services as a key member of our team. This role is ideal for an experienced electrician who can take the lead on-site, ensure top-quality workmanship, and support in managing day-to-day operations. You will work closely with the company owner, acting as a right-hand partner in decision-making, job organisation, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical installation and maintenance projects to the highest industry standards.
  • Supervise and mentor junior electricians and apprentices.
  • Organise job schedules, materials, and resources for multiple jobs.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Assist in planning, quoting, and overseeing project budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with BS 7671 wiring regulations, health & safety procedures, and company quality standards.
  • Act as site decision-maker when the owner is unavailable.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering quality electrical work.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Full UK driving licence.
