We are looking to recruit a positive, compassionate, and self-motivated GP to join our friendly team at Creswell and Langwith Medical Centre on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension subject to NHS funding and guidance. This opportunity is part of the PCN ARRS funding initiative and requires applicants to be newly qualified and new to practice (within 2 years).

The successful candidate will be primarily based at Creswell and Langwith Medical Centre. However, on occasion, you may be asked to work at one of our other DCHS General Practice sites in exceptional circumstances.

Please Note: INTERNATIONAL GRADUATES MUST BE QUALIFIED AND BE ON THE GP SPECIALIST LIST AS WELL AS THE GMC REGISTER.

The practice serves approximately 5500 patients across Creswell, Langwith, and surrounding areas. Our purpose is to provide community health services to a patient population of over one million people in Derbyshire and Derby, as part of Joined Up Care Derbyshire. We employ around 4,200 substantive staff, caring for patients in 11 community hospitals and more than 30 health centres, clinics, GP practices, schools, care homes and, increasingly, in people’s own homes and via virtual consultations.

During the pandemic response we have led the implementation of public vaccination centres in collaboration with partners across health and social care.
