We have an exciting vacancy for varying hours for urgent care practitioners. Applicants must hold a professional registration with the NMC or HCPC.
Responsibilities:
- Apply autonomous assessment, examination, and documentation following relevant clinical guidelines for the treatment of patients.
- Act as Shift Lead on a regular basis, ensuring patients are cared for by the right person, in the right place, at the right time.
- Seek clinical expertise regarding judgement, discretion, and decision‑making in providing care to adults and children presenting with undifferentiated diagnoses of minor injuries and illnesses within a UTC setting.
- Work towards and commit to undertaking an agreed capability framework.
- Behaviour and actions must be appropriate to and in accordance with “The DCHS Way”.
Qualifications:
- Registration with the NMC or HCPC.
