We are seeking an experienced on site Industrial Large-Format Print Operator to lead production on our 196" (5-meter) direct-to-textile printing line in Las Vegas. This role requires a high level of technical proficiency in RIP software and color profiling to ensure premium quality on backlit and blockout textiles.
Location: Las Vegas
Key Responsibilities:
- RIP & Workflow: Manage the full print queue using Neostampa (or equivalent RIP like Caldera/Onyx), including nesting jobs to minimize fabric waste.
- Color Profiling: Calibrate and manage ICC profiles specifically for Backlit and Blockout materials to ensure color accuracy under different lighting conditions.
- Technical Operation: Manage the 380V power system and 200°C fixation process for high-speed textile production.
- Quality Control: Utilize software diagnostic tools to monitor Kyocera print head health and nozzle performance in real-time.
Required Software & Technical Skills:
- RIP Software: 2+ years of experience with Neostampa, Onyx, or Caldera (Neostampa preferred).
- Design Tools: Intermediate proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for file pre-flighting, tiling, and setting up bleed/crop marks for 5-meter prints.
- Data Entry: Ability to log ink and media usage for accurate cost-per-sq-ft tracking.
