Well established Surrey based law firm are seeking a Legal Secretary to work within their Private Client department in their Cranleigh office. This role will be assisting a busy team of three fee earners in their day to day work by providing support and an efficient secretarial and administrative service. This includes:
- Production of accurate and timely documents and correspondence via audio dictation
- Contributing to the management of client files
- Assisting with the smooth running of the client transaction
- Contributing to the overall departmental work cycles
There will be frequent liaison with clients and third parties by telephone and in person which requires the delivery of exceptional client service. This position would suit someone who has experience of working as a Legal Secretary, preferably within private client practice area but this is not essential.
Responsibilities- Providing full secretarial support including using a digital dictation system to produce correspondence and other documentation
- Maintenance of comprehensive and accurate client admin files
- Liaison with clients and third parties by telephone and in person
- Assistance with Reception duties which will include meeting and greeting clients, and arranging meeting room bookings
- Experience of working as a Legal Secretary
- Strong and efficient secretarial and admin skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Audio transcription skills
- Fast accurate typing ability
- Experience of using case management is desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Very well organised
- Friendly & professional attitude
- IT literate - Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook/ Digital Audio software
