Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 per year dependent on experience
Electrician
As an electrician working with CC Electrics youll be dealing with responsive repairs, driving to sites broadly in London, Surrey, Kent and Sussex but occasionally further afield. Youll be carrying out electrical maintenance, doing installs, fault finding, repairs and testing. Your people skills are just as important as your skill as an electrician. The role is perfect for someone who loves interacting with and helping others, and who wants to be part of a growing business.
There is an opportunity for this role to expand to a supervisory role for the right person (top end of this salary range).
Requirements of the Electrician:
A City & Guilds 2365 Qualification, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, or City & Guilds 2357 Level 3 NVQ Diploma
Qualified electrician who has completed AM2 practical assessment essential
Basic knowledge of testing – desirable
Problem solving and fault-finding abilities
Meticulous attention to detail
Able to follow instruction/process
Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills/ability to engage with clients
Driving licence
The role of a CC Electrician:
Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems while observing all statutory and legal requirements
Maintenance and inspection of electrical systems including emergency lighting and electrical distribution.
Inspecting electrical systems and equipment for damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards
Conducting thorough technical fault finding, diagnosis, testing and repair across a range of equipment
Reviewing maintenance work orders and ensure all requirements / preparations are fully undertaken before commencing work
Ensuring all work is completed as per work order and that work sites are fully tested, functional and clean before departure and client is informed
Use of online tool to add job notes and other process activities
