We’re looking for an administration assistant to join our dedicated accounts team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a diverse array of duties who enjoys being part of a team. The role is based at our office in Derby; we do not envisage the successful applicant working from home at the present time.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Operations: Processing GBP and foreign currency purchase invoices, bank reconciliations, and professional deposit account posting.
- Compliance & Risk: Setting up new clients, verifying details against UK sanctions lists and Companies House, and obtaining credit reports.
- Practice Support: Assisting the practice manager with essential tasks including post distribution, stationery ordering, and handling telephone enquiries.
- Reporting: Monitoring and uploading invoices to third-party platforms and assisting with month-end procedures.
- Credit Control: Professional and polite debt chasing to maintain healthy cash flow.
About You:
