We are an established Firm of Accountants in Harrow Town Centre looking for an applicant with experience in accounts preparation, VAT, audit, and taxation. Suitable applicants will require both written and oral communication, good computer literacy using Professional Software such as SAGE, Xero, QuickBooks etc. Successful applicants will be responsible directly to the managers/partners. They should be highly motivated, have small/medium sized firm experience, be able to cope with responsibility and pressure, and work with a minimum level of supervision while using initiative. Organisational skills and the ability to multi-task and work under pressure are essential. Professional appearance and presentation are also essential.
Duties include:
- Preparing annual accounts and tax returns from client records.
- Processing, preparing, and reviewing monthly and quarterly VAT returns for clients.
- Producing monthly management accounts for clients.
- Assisting audit managers in auditing annual accounts.
Place of work: Harrow on the Hill, very close to Metropolitan Line Station.
