BEANO BRAIN is a Gen Alpha & Gen Z insights consultancy from Beano Studios. We help companies build connections with families using our knowledge of Gen Alpha, Gen Z and their Millennial parents. Our bespoke consulting solutions help brands stay ahead of trends by using big data and qualitative panels.
We are seeking someone who is passionate about kids and families and understands the role that authentic youth insight can play in driving impactful business decisions. The ideal candidate has an established skill set within qualitative research and project management, is self-motivated, and is looking for a new challenge with scope for rapid progression. Experience with the US market is particularly valuable.
Role Purpose
To support the senior Beano Brain insight team on delivering thought-provoking and business-transforming insight work for larger clients and global projects. To manage smaller US-only projects with guidance from senior team members and support logistics and project management for growing US and global client accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Fieldwork Management: Manage and co-ordinate client insight projects, including liaising with recruitment partners, cost collation, preparing research proposals, project setup, and overseeing recruitment progression.
- Qualitative Research Projects: Participate in client meetings, contribute to the design of insight projects, and prepare/manage quality ad hoc research.
- Digital Research Communities: Manage and run digital research communities for clients, including writing and uploading online community guides.
- Moderation: Moderate fieldwork with kids, teens, parents, and other relevant audiences.
- Analysis and Reporting: Contribute to analysis discussions, write sections of debrief presentations, and help present insights to clients.
- Supporting US Growth: Stay abreast of US-specific youth trends and contribute to US marketing communications.
- Team Contribution: Share knowledge and expertise with the wider team and advocate for Beano Brain's thought leadership.
Requirements
- Educated to degree level (preferable but not essential).
- Experience and interest in the US market and youth culture.
- Project management experience and understanding of qualitative research methods.
- 2+ years experience moderating 1:1 sessions and online communities.
- Strong analytical skills and communication abilities.
- Proficient in PPT and Word.
- Creative problem solver with strong attention to detail.
Desirable
- Experience working with kids and teens.
- Expertise in youth culture and families.
- Experience on multi-market projects, especially in the US.
- Experience utilising AI to boost efficiency in the insight space.
Working Arrangements
This role will be hybrid out of our Fleet Street (London) office, requiring commuting to central London 2 days a week. Core working hours will be 10am-6pm UK Monday-Friday. A large portion of fieldwork will take place in the US, involving regular travel opportunities and conducting virtual fieldwork on US hours.
