Synergi, part of DC Thomson media company, are currently recruiting for an experienced Dynamics Team Lead & Business Central Functional Consultant to join our growing team in Gateshead. The Dynamics Team Lead & Business Central Functional Consultant will deliver commercially successful Microsoft Dynamics Business Central engagements for clients while building a high-performing, scalable capability within the Dynamics practice. This role is a blend of client-facing functional expertise (60%) with accountable team leadership (40%) to ensure consistent delivery quality, strong utilisation, and measurable customer outcomes.
The successful candidate will turn business strategy and sales pipeline demand into effective delivery capacity, aligning skills, resource deployment and solution design to maximise revenue, margin and client value. The Dynamics Team Lead & Business Central Functional Consultant will establish standards, accelerate adoption of data, automation and AI-enabled capabilities, and drive repeatable best practices across a portfolio of clients.
Core Dynamics offerings within Synergi includes applications such as Business Central, Sales, Customer Insights, Service and Field Service plus the Power Platform.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- A typical list of end-to-end project delivery functions that you would be required to perform includes scoping works, solution design, data transfer, configuration, UAT and training, plus go-live support directly with end users at all levels.
- High-Quality Client Delivery - Deliver Business Central solutions that meet defined business outcomes, ensuring projects are completed to scope, quality, time and budget, with measurable client value and satisfaction.
- Commercial Performance & Utilisation - Achieve and sustain ~60% billable utilisation while contributing to accurate estimations, effective scope control, and delivery margin through strong commercial awareness and decision-making.
- Team Leadership & Capability - Build and lead a high-performing team with clear objectives, active development plans, and aligned skills deployment, ensuring capability is scaled in line with pipeline demand.
- Solution Design, Data & Automation Integration - Design and oversee solutions that incorporate Business Central, Power Platform, data structures and automation opportunities, ensuring scalable, efficient and insight-driven outcomes for clients.
- Delivery Governance & Quality Assurance - Establish and enforce consistent delivery standards, peer review processes and governance controls to ensure repeatable, high-quality outputs across all engagements.
- Practice Growth & Innovation Contribution - Support practice growth by identifying new opportunities, contributing to propositions, and embedding best practice, reusable assets and emerging capabilities (including AI-enabled features) across the team.
