Great visual journalism stops people in their tracks. It's the image that sums up a community's biggest day, the video that captures the emotion of a breaking story – content that gets shared, watched and remembered. The Courier, part of renowned publishing group, DC Thomson, is looking for a talented Photographer / Videographer to join our in-house News AV team and help create outstanding visual journalism for our trusted news brands both digitally and in print.

You'll be joining a team that is passionate about delivering high-quality visual journalism, where our audience needs come first and great storytelling, creativity and innovation are truly valued. You'll work alongside talented editors, reporters, photographers and digital specialists who all share the same goal – producing journalism that informs, engages and connects with the communities that we serve and champion across Tayside, Fife and Stirling.

The successful candidate will be on-the-road capturing the people, events and live news incidents which shape communities from Stonehaven to Stirling to Highland Perthshire.
