ABOUT THE ROLE

The Digital Ad Operations team is a modern and ever-evolving team that delivers a high volume of digital advertising campaigns for both our customers and internal brands. The team of delivery experts works closely with the Commercial Content, Creative and Commercial Development departments to ensure all campaigns are delivered to the expected benchmarks and beyond. The team is at the heart of the DC Thomson digital operation and is a vital resource for the company to achieve digital growth.
As a Digital Delivery Executive (Off-Site), you will be responsible for:
- Delivering a high volume of paid digital advertising campaigns across platforms including Meta, Google, TikTok, Spotify and LinkedIn for both commercial clients and internal marketing teams
- Setting up campaigns across multiple social ad manager platforms, building custom audiences, monitoring results, and delivering results within set budgets
- Producing creatives that align with brand guidelines and within approved templates, ensuring consistency and quality across all campaigns
- Delivering a variety of advertising formats including articles, audio, video, and visual creatives to support multi-platform campaign delivery
- Optimising campaigns daily to meet performance benchmarks and maximise campaign effectiveness
- Accurately recording campaign performance and delivery data within internal tracking spreadsheets and systems
- Supporting Sales and Sales Enablement teams by collating and sharing timely campaign updates, performance insights, and delivery information
- Collaborating with Creative, Commercial Content, and Sales teams to ensure all campaign assets are received and campaigns are launched on schedule
Key to your success will be:
- Experience in delivering multi-platform paid advertising campaigns across Meta, Google, or LinkedIn
- Comfortable working across multiple social ad manager platforms, including Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and other relevant tools, with the ability to efficiently build, monitor, and optimise campaigns to meet performance goals across various audiences and formats
- Excellent written communication and language skills, with high attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams (plus business-level computer literacy including Microsoft Office)
- Strong attention to detail when processing and recording campaign data, ensuring accuracy across all tracking and reporting
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with a methodical and proactive approach to tasks
- Adaptable to frequent changes in digital platforms, tools, and advertising best practices
- Quick to learn new products, platforms, and advertising solutions
- Commercial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying emerging opportunities that enhance existing products or support the development of new solutions aligned to digital growth objectives

This is a full-time, permanent position, working 35 hours per week from our Dundee, Aberdeen or Glasgow office, depending on which of these three locations is closest to your home address. The role presents the opportunity of hybrid working that must include regular office attendance for 2 days per week.
