What You’ll Do

As a Membership Business Development Executive , you’ll be at the forefront of our commercial growth. You’ll:

  • Support and grow a high-value sales pipeline —from prospecting, lead generation to qualification.
  • Drive new business by targeting C-suite executives across the energy sector.
  • Own Insights and opportunity: by supporting BDM’s for pitch meetings, preparing background and proposition that will be most impactful to prospective client.
  • Close with impact: working in collaboration with the BDM team on supporting closing process
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, community and online trading teams to refine our offering and deliver exceptional member experiences.
  • Represent E-FWD at high-profile events , building relationships and uncovering new opportunities.

  • Proven success in B2B sales , ideally in subscriptions, memberships, or professional services.
  • Mastery of the sales cycle , from cold outreach to consultative selling and closing.
  • Energy and resilience, to own your success and growth in the role.
  • CRM fluency and a data-driven mindset to manage and optimize your pipeline. (we use HubSpot)
  • Account management skills , with a focus on renewals, upselling, and long-term value.
  • Confidence and charisma —you’re comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and tailoring your pitch to their needs.
  • A passion for energy, innovation, and transformation —and a desire to be part of something evolving.
