We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for an experienced Civil Estimator / Buyer to join their growing team within the renewable energy sector.
This is a great opportunity to work on exciting renewable energy projects, supporting both the estimating and buying functions while working closely with commercial and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing cost estimates for civil engineering works.
- Obtaining and reviewing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Purchasing materials and services for projects.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Supporting project teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and cost- effectively.
- Assisting with commercial and procurement activities across multiple projects.
Requirements
- Previous experience in civil estimating and/or buying.
- Strong commercial awareness.
