An established and growing joinery business is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working both independently and collaboratively, with occasional client interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates based on architectural drawings and specifications
- Interpret and analyze plans, elevations, and technical drawings
- Complete detailed material take-offs
- Liaise with internal teams and occasionally attend client meetings (including travel to London when required)
- Maintain clear and organized documentation using standard office software
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a joinery estimator
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Confident working independently and within a team
- Positive, proactive attitude
- Comfortable in client-facing situations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to location)
