The Company
Our client is a growing construction-focused business with an established operational and commercial team. With increasing project activity, they are now looking to appoint a Bookkeeper / Junior Finance Manager to strengthen their in-house finance function.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on finance role based full-time from the Paddington office. You will manage day-to-day bookkeeping while producing company-wide and project-specific P&L reports, supporting management with accurate and timely financial information.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day bookkeeping using Xero
- Preparation and management of P&L reports (overall business and project-based)
- Invoice processing, payments, reconciliations, and expense management
- Support month-end and year-end financial processes
- Assist with general administrative tasks where required
- Work closely with senior management on financial reporting and controls
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a bookkeeping or junior finance role
- Strong working knowledge of Xero
- Experience producing P&L reports
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a full-time, office-based environment
- Experience within construction or project-based businesses is beneficial but not essential
