Technical Assembly Operative Location: North Acton Salary: £14.00 – £18.00 per hour, DOE Job Type: Full-time Technical Assembly Operative – Windows & Doors We are currently looking for an experienced Technical Assembly Operative to join a busy production team in North Acton. The Technical Assembly Operative will be responsible for assembling windows and doors in line with technical drawings, specifications and production requirements. Key Responsibilities * Work as a Technical Assembly Operative assembling windows and doors. * Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Use hand and power tools safely and accurately. * Apply silicone and gaskets during assembly. * Inspect finished products and identify defects. * Complete quality checks and sign off finished panels. * Work independently to meet production targets. * Support other Technical Assembly Operative team members when required. * Maintain a clean, organised and safe workspace. * Follow all health and safety procedures. * Assist with loading and unloading materials where required. Requirements The successful Technical Assembly Operative will have: * Previous assembly, fabrication or production experience. * Experience using hand and power tools. * Ability to read technical drawings. * Ability to work from detailed specifications. * Strong attention to detail. * Good quality-control awareness. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Reliable and hardworking attitude. Experience as a Technical Assembly Operative, Assembly Operative, Assembly Technician, Window Assembler, Door Assembler or Fabrication Operative would be advantageous.
