A well-established engineering organisation operating across the UK water and environmental sectors is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join its growing team.
Locations: Luton / Edmonton / Hoddesdon / Dartford
Salary: £20 - £21 per hour
Working Hours: 7:00am - 5:00pm
Contract: Permanent PAYE
Pay: 48 hours per week

The Role:
As a Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems across a range of water, infrastructure, and environmental sites. You will work as part of a professional engineering team, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installing, maintaining, servicing, and repairing mechanical equipment
- Fault finding and troubleshooting mechanical systems
- Working on pumps, motors, pipework, valves, and associated equipment
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
