Key Responsibilities
- Carry out the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems (pumps, pipework, valves, and associated equipment) on-site.
- Perform fault finding and troubleshooting on various mechanical systems.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Execute planned preventative maintenance alongside reactive and emergency works as required.
- Ensure all works are completed safely, following RAMS, method statements, and health & safety standards.
Requirements
- Completed Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
- Proven hands-on experience in an on-site mechanical engineering environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of pumps, motors, and pipework systems.
- Valid CSCS Card (or equivalent).
- Additional certifications (EUSR, IPAF, PASMA, Confined Space, Abrasive Wheels) are beneficial but not essential.
- Strong problem-solving ability, good communication, and a strong work ethic.
