We are seeking an experienced and reliable Signage Fitter to join a growing installation team. You will be responsible for the installation of a wide range of signage solutions across commercial, retail, and construction environments. This role involves both indoor and outdoor work, including site preparation, groundwork, and installation of signage to a high professional standard. You will be representing the business on-site, so a strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Install a variety of signage including external and internal signage, wayfinding systems, hoardings, post & panel signs, large format graphics, vinyl applications and branding installations
- Carry out groundwork including digging, concreting, and preparing sign foundations
- Ensure all installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Read and interpret drawings, site plans, and installation briefs
- Work on-site independently or as part of a team
- Liaise professionally with clients and site managers when required
- Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations
Requirements
- Previous signage installation experience is essential
- Groundworks experience (e.g. post installations, basic construction tasks)
- Full UK driving licence
- Valid CSCS card
- IPAF and PASMA certifications are advantageous
- Ability to work at height and in outdoor environments
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
- Flexible approach to working hours and locations
Working Hours
- 40 hours per week
- 1‑hour lunch break
- Overtime available
Salary & Benefits
- £35,000 - £42,000 per year (depending on experience)
- Overtime paid at 1.5x standard hourly rate
