Our client is a well-established and growing commercial fencing contractor delivering projects across the UK within the infrastructure, education, renewable energy, industrial, and commercial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit experienced Commercial Fencers to join their team on a permanent PAYE basis.

The Role

Working on projects throughout the UK, you will be responsible for the installation of a variety of commercial and security fencing systems, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The successful candidate must be willing to travel nationwide and stay away from home when required. A company vehicle will be provided for the right candidate.

Duties Include

  • Installation of commercial fencing systems
  • Twin wire mesh fencing
  • Security and perimeter fencing
  • Palisade fencing
  • Gates and access systems
  • Reading site drawings and working to specifications
  • Using hand and power tools safely
  • Ensuring projects are completed within programme deadlines
  • Working as part of a team on nationwide sites

Requirements

  • Proven experience installing commercial fencing
  • CSCS Card
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to travel and work nationwide
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable (Not Essential)

  • SSSTS
  • CPCS or NPORS plant tickets
  • Groundworks or civils experience
  • Experience working on infrastructure, utility, rail, education, or renewable energy projects
