Glazier & Structural Glass Installer

Location: London – Starting in Acton Pay: £18–£22 per hour Working Hours: Monday–Friday | 07:30–17:30 Work: High-end residential & commercial projects

Job Description

We are currently recruiting experienced Glaziers, Glazing Installers and Structural Glass Installers to join a growing team working on high-end projects across London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Glazier with a strong background in glazing, aluminium glazing systems and structural glass installation.

The successful Glazier will work on a variety of premium glazing projects, installing high-quality windows, doors, sliding systems, glass roofs and structural glass.

Key Responsibilities

As a Glazier / Glazing Installer, your responsibilities will include

  • Installing premium sliding and pivot door systems.
  • Carrying out professional glazing installation on high-end projects.
  • Fitting aluminium glazing systems, windows and doors.
  • Installing structural glass and specialist glazing systems.
  • Installing glass roofs and structural glazing.
  • Measuring, positioning and securing glass and glazing systems.
  • Reading and interpreting technical and installation drawings.
  • Ensuring all glazing work is completed accurately and to a high standard.
  • Working safely with glass, aluminium frames and glazing equipment.
  • Working independently as a Glazier and as part of a glazing installation team.
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship across every glazing project.
  • Following all site Health & Safety procedures and requirements.

Requirements

The ideal Glazier / Glazing Installer will have

Previous experience working as a Glazier.

Strong experience in glazing and aluminium fitting.

Experience installing windows, doors and aluminium glazing systems.

Previous structural glass installation experience is preferred.

Experience with sliding and pivot doors would be advantageous.

Experience with glass roofs or specialist glazing systems is desirable.

Ability to read and work from technical drawings.

Good understanding of professional glazing installation methods.

Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Ability to safely handle and install glass.

Ability to work independently or as part of a glazing team.

UK driving licence preferred.

Own glazing tools preferred.
