We are seeking an enthusiastic glazier mate to join an expanding team delivering high-end residential and commercial glazing projects across London. Working closely alongside an experienced glazier, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in structural glass installations, architectural glazing systems, windows, and doors. This role is an outstanding entry point for a dedicated glazier mate who wants to build a long-term career in the specialist glazing industry.
Key Responsibilities for the Glazier Mate- Working directly under a senior glazier to assist with complex site installations.
- Supporting the fitting of specialized glazing systems, aluminium door sets, structural glass units, and glass roofs.
- Handling, preparing, and safely maneuvering heavy glazing panels, structural glass, and tools.
- Assisting the lead glazier with site prep, loading, unloading, and maintaining safety standard compliance.
- Prior experience as a glazier mate, window fitter mate, or general operative in the glazing or aluminium fitting sector.
- Strong practical aptitude and a keen interest in learning advanced glazing techniques from an experienced glazier.
- Safe working knowledge of basic hand and power tools used in daily glazing operations.
- Reliable, punctual, and physically capable of handling heavy glazing materials on busy commercial and residential sites.
- A valid UK driving licence is preferred.
- Competitive hourly rate of £14–£16/hr with steady, long-term work.
