Machine Driver – CPCS (13 Tonne Excavator) We are currently recruiting for an experienced Machine Driver with a valid CPCS card to join an active construction project. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and skilled operator who is happy to combine machine work with hands-on groundworks duties when required. Key Responsibilities * Safely operate a 13-tonne excavator in line with site plans and health & safety regulations. * Break out and remove existing concrete slabs using the appropriate attachments. * Carry out excavation, grading, trenching, and material movement as instructed by the site manager. * Assist the groundworks team with general site duties when machine operation is not required. * Complete daily pre-start inspections and basic maintenance checks on the machine. * Ensure the work area is kept safe, tidy, and compliant with site procedures. * Work efficiently with the site team to meet project deadlines. Requirements * Valid CPCS card (essential). * Proven experience operating a 13-tonne excavator on construction or civil engineering projects. * Experience breaking out concrete slabs and carrying out excavation works. * Willingness to assist with general groundworks and other site duties. * Good understanding of health & safety regulations and safe machine operation. * Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
