DC Personnel have an exciting opportunity for a storesperson to join our client's warehouse team in the Wigston area of Leicester. You will play an important role in the warehouse team, maintaining the accuracy of stock, supporting material movement and assisting with the operation of the running of the warehouse.
Location: Leicester
Salary: £24,993 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
Monday - Thursday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pm
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Maintaining accurate stock control and ensuring material movements are tracked and documented.
- Supporting warehouse processes in a fast-paced environment.
- Driving a company vehicle between sites to support inter-site operations.
- Using computer systems to input and manage data – strong Excel skills required.
- Working independently at times with a proactive, flexible attitude.
- Following written and verbal instructions accurately and clearly.
What We’re Looking For:
- Full, clean UK driving license.
- Previous experience in stock control or warehouse operations.
- GCSE Maths & English (minimum Grade 4 or equivalent).
- Good computer literacy – especially Excel.
- Clear and legible handwriting.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work at heights.
Desirable (not essential): Valid forklift truck license would be a benefit, however this is not a full-time fork truck position. While occasional use of a fork truck may be required the majority of your time will be spent monitoring stock movement. Our client would be happy to provide counterbalance training where required.
