DC Personnel is recruiting on behalf of our client a fast-growing manufacturing business in Leicester. They’re looking for a skilled Metal Fabricator to join their team in the metal shop. Hours: 7:00 – 15:30 Monday – Friday. Overtime is available Pay rate: £15 – £17 per hour. To achieve the higher rate you must have 2+ years\’ experience in the same job role Duties: • Fabricating a variety of metal components from aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel • Working from job sheets and drawings to produce high-quality bespoke metal signs • Operating machines such as drills, circular saws, and band saws safely and efficiently • Using a range of hand and power tools • Adhering to strict health and safety standards at all times • Working with your team to meet deadlines and maintain production quality What we are looking for: • Proven experience in metal fabrication (preferably with various materials) • Experience in MIG Welding, TIG welding is an advantage • Experience confidently using power tools and machinery • Excellent attention to detail • Positive, can-do attitude with a strong work ethic • Physically strong and enthusiastic • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines • Able to work independently and use your own initiative If you have a strong background in metal fabrication and take pride in delivering high-quality, bespoke metal work this could be the ideal role for you.
