Forklift Counterbalance driver Rugby £14.60 per hour, 37.5 hours per week. Hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 – 16:00.
DC Personnel are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative with a Counterbalance Forklift Licence on behalf of our client, a leading chemical distribution business based in Rugby. This is a great opportunity to join a modern, well-run facility supplying key industries such as Pharmaceutical, Automotive, Packaging, Coatings, and Chemical Manufacturing. If you’re safety-focused, reliable, and looking for steady weekday work with good pay, this role ticks a lot of boxes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operating a counterbalance forklift to safely load, unload, and move goods
- Picking and packing orders accurately to meet customer and dispatch deadlines
- Supporting stock control and inventory accuracy
- Working closely with the warehouse team to hit daily targets
- Following strict health, safety, and quality procedures, particularly around chemical handling
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and audit-ready
- Taking part in team meetings and contributing ideas for continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Accredited Counterbalance Forklift licence (essential)
- Previous warehouse experience (chemical or regulated environments preferred)
- A strong awareness of health & safety and compliance
- A reliable, punctual, and proactive team player
- Flexibility to work either 06:00–14:00 or 10:00–18:00, Monday to Friday
- Ability to follow procedures accurately and work well under pressure
