Forklift Counterbalance driver Rugby £14.60 per hour 37.5 hours per week. Hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 – 16:00.

DC Personnel are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative with a Counterbalance Forklift Licence on behalf of our client, a leading chemical distribution business based in Rugby. This is a great opportunity to join a modern, well‑run facility supplying key industries such as Pharmaceutical, Automotive, Packaging, Coatings, and Chemical Manufacturing. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Operating a counterbalance forklift to safely load, unload, and move goods
  • Picking and packing orders accurately to meet customer and dispatch deadlines
  • Supporting stock control and inventory accuracy
  • Working closely with the warehouse team to hit daily targets
  • Following strict health, safety, and quality procedures, particularly around chemical handling
  • Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and audit‑ready
  • Taking part in team meetings and contributing ideas for continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid Accredited Counterbalance Forklift licence (essential)
  • Previous warehouse experience (chemical or regulated environments preferred)
  • A strong awareness of health & safety and compliance
  • A reliable, punctual, and proactive team player
  • Flexibility to work either 06:00–14:00 or 10:00–18:00, Monday to Friday
  • Ability to follow procedures accurately and work well under pressure
