DC Personnel are currently recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse and logistics operation in Leicester.
This is a great opportunity for someone with Counterbalance Forklift experience who is looking for stable Monday-to-Friday working hours and the opportunity to move into a permanent position.
The Role
Working as part of the stores and warehouse team, your responsibilities will include:
- Safely operating a Counterbalance Forklift.
- Moving stock and materials around the warehouse and stores area.
- Loading and unloading deliveries.
- Checking incoming and outgoing goods.
- Storing materials in the correct locations.
- Picking and moving stock as required.
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the stores operation.
- Maintaining accurate stock locations and records.
- Ensuring goods are handled safely and correctly.
- Following all warehouse and health and safety procedures.
- Keeping the stores and work areas clean, tidy and organised.
- Supporting the wider warehouse team with general duties when required.
About You
- Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift.
- A valid and in-date Counterbalance Forklift licence.
- Experience working within a warehouse, stores or logistics environment.
- Good awareness of health and safety procedures.
- Good attention to detail when handling stock and materials.
- A reliable and punctual approach to work.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A willingness to support with general warehouse and stores duties.
