Experienced Metal Fabricator – Sign Manufacturing
Location: Insert Location
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 DOE (£15-£18 per hour)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing sign manufacturing company that is looking to add an experienced Metal Fabricator to their production team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable business known for delivering high-quality bespoke signage solutions across commercial and retail sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabrication of aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel
- MIG and TIG welding to a high standard
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Cutting, folding, drilling, and finishing materials
- Maintaining quality standards and meeting production deadlines
The Role
Working within a busy workshop environment, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components used in the production of bespoke signage, including:
- Built-up letters and fabricated sign trays
- Aluminium and steel sign frames
- Structural supports and sign cabinets
- Custom architectural metalwork elements
The successful candidate will be confident working from technical drawings and capable of producing high-quality fabrication work with minimal supervision.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in metal fabrication (signage experience highly advantageous)
- Strong MIG/TIG welding skills
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Experience working with sheet metal and fabrication machinery
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
