DC Personnel, working on behalf of a leading manufacturing company based in Leicestershire (LE7), are recruiting for Temporary Fabrication Welders for AM & PM shifts.
Job Type: Temporary (2–3 weeks, with potential for permanent)
Working Hours:
- AM Shift: Mon – Fri 6:00am – 2:00pm
- PM Shift: Mon – Wed 2:00pm – Midnight; Thurs – 2:00pm – 11:30pm; Friday – Off
Start Date: 27th May
The Role: We are looking for experienced Fabrication Welders to join a busy sheet metal fabrication team on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidates. You will be working on a range of fabrication and welding tasks, ensuring high standards of quality and productivity.
Key Duties:
- MIG welding and fabrication of sheet metal components
- Working from engineering drawings
- Operating within a fast-paced production environment
- Ensuring all work meets quality standards
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
- Supporting production targets and deadlines
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fabrication Welder
- Experience working within the sheet metal industry
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Reliable and able to hit the ground running
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
