DC Personnel are looking for a Bench Hand Joiner to join our client in the LE16 area of Leicestershire.

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £15 – £17 per hour DOE / Up to £35,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

Hours: Day shift, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture and assemble bespoke cabinetry, furniture and woodwork from technical drawings
  • Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Measure, cut, shape, and fit timber and sheet materials with precision
  • Carry out on-site installations where required (e.g. kitchens, wardrobes, shop fitting)
  • Interpret work plans and technical drawings
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure all products meet high standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Collaborate with team members and liaise with supervisors or clients as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a joinery or cabinet-making role
  • Proficient in using woodworking tools and machinery
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
  • Reliable, punctual and a team player
