We're hiring a Mechanical Lead to take ownership of mechanical systems and services across our construction projects. You'll run mechanical delivery end to end,. HVAC, plumbing, drainage and fire protection. from design input through installation, testing and handover, making sure the work is technically sound, cost-efficient and on programme.
This is a hands-on leadership role on site, working alongside electrical, civil and architectural teams and managing the subcontractors and suppliers who deliver the works.
**What you'll do**
- Lead the planning, execution and delivery of mechanical systems across assigned projects
- Coordinate with electrical, civil and architectural disciplines to keep design and construction integrated
- Supervise and manage mechanical subcontractors, vendors and suppliers
- Track mechanical progress against project schedules and milestones
- Review mechanical designs, specifications and shop drawings for compliance with project requirements
- Provide technical input during design development, value engineering and constructability reviews
- Lead testing, commissioning and handover of mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot site-based mechanical issues and develop practical solutions
- Ensure installations comply with local and international codes, standards and safety regulations
- Run inspections, risk assessments and quality checks to maintain high construction standards
- Prepare and maintain QA/QC, commissioning and O&M documentation
- Lead and mentor mechanical site engineers and supervisors
- Chair or attend coordination meetings and interface with project stakeholders
- Report mechanical status, risks and mitigation plans to project leadership
**What you'll bring**
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 7–10+ years delivering mechanical systems on large-scale projects
- Proven experience managing HVAC, plumbing, drainage and fire protection systems
- Familiarity with BIM and mechanical design tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks)
- Strong technical and engineering grounding in mechanical systems
- Excellent problem-solving and coordination skills
- Strong leadership and communication ability
