We are currently looking for Part-Time Cashier Assistant\'s for our Stevenage Warehouse. Responsibilities
- Greets members and assists with placing merchandise onto the conveyor belt.
- Ensures members have found everything they needed and assists if not.
- Answers queries regarding merchandise and promotions.
- Packs goods into boxes and places them into trolleys; offers to load merchandise into car if needed.
- Assists cashier when barcodes cannot be scanned or merchandise needs changing.
- Collects and counts cigarettes from the cigarette cage for security and regulation matters.
- Performs safety and security procedures and maintains a clean and safe work environment.
- Performs setup and closing duties for the department, including returning products, collecting paperwork, stocking registers and cleaning the area.
- Maintains a clean and tidy working environment and disposes of hazardous materials where applicable.
- Provides prompt and courteous member service at all times.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Flexible with regards to part-time hours (minimum 24 hours up to 40 hours per week) between 04:00 and 23:00, Monday to Sunday.
- Service oriented and customer-focused; able to go the extra mile.
- Energetic and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good presentation and communication skills.
