About the role
This role leads our Central European System Integrator and Consulting Partners (DACH and Benelux). dbt has a fast-growing, vibrant consulting ecosystem. Our technology forms the predominant standard in enabling data transformation and is used by consultants, whether via Open Source dbt Core or the paid offering dbt Platform. Our aim is to partner with System Integrators and Consultancies to build on dbt Platform, launch pipeline-generating activities, unlock customer value faster, and bring new sourced opportunities into dbt through our partner portal. We then jointly progress and close these with our sales team. Monetizing the ecosystem by enabling partners to have better value-led discussions with customers is a primary strategic imperative for the dbt Executive team. This role will generate significant partner-sourced ARR for the EMEA business through coverage of the above geographies. The role works within the wider Partner Management business of EMEA, with counterparts covering EMEA North and South, in close collaboration with our Partner Solution Architecture team. Candidates must be based in the United Kingdom or Germany and be fluent in German.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all EMEA Central SI partners.
- Build the strategy and execution for the region delivering new pipe generation from partners through portal referrals and maximise closed-won ARR.
- Onboard new partners, providing education on our product offerings, partnership tools, and processes. Direct partners to self-serve where necessary.
- Maintain regular communication through scalable channels with the partner community in the geography (e.g., newsletters, webinars, email campaigns).
- Develop and maintain detailed QBR planning with priority partners to ensure mutual success.
- Continually drive the improvement of our overall partner program with suggestions to our head of operations and regional VP.
You’ll have an edge if you have
- Prior experience in analytics, ETL, BI, and/or open-source software
- Knowledge of or prior experience with dbt
- Strong Sales and/or Partnership experience of building a sourcing channel
- Entrepreneurial spirit and evidence of driving business outcomes from this
- Based in Germany or the UK
