Role Overview
The Production Projects team delivers a wide variety of live event solutions to our clients. We are looking for a hard-working, dynamic, committed, and self-motivated individual to join our growing team of Project Managers. The successful candidate will work well within a team, have a good working knowledge of industry-standard equipment, and will care about our clients to ensure that all jobs are completed to a high standard. This is a hands-on, client-facing role. We pride ourselves in producing excellent events that surpass our client’s expectations. The Project Managers are key to maintaining this reputation, and we expect the individual fulfilling this role to aim for “Excellence in Production” in every aspect of the role.

Responsibilities of the Role
The primary responsibility of the Production Project Manager is to provide experienced leadership in the planning and delivery of event production projects true to our values.

Project Management

  • Oversee the successful delivery of production projects from brief to execution.
  • Be the main point of contact for clients on a day-to-day basis.
  • Work with internal teams and partners.
  • Meet with clients, listen, understand their needs, build rapport, and help articulate their brief.
  • Prepare suitable schematics, drawings, and technical solutions that serve the client’s needs.
  • Ensure proposals balance creative & technical ambition with safe, practical delivery and value.

The Lead Person Who Will

  • Produce prep lists with engineering support to optimize internal assets and sub-hires.
  • Manage third-party partners or suppliers.
  • Coordinate logistics.
  • Prepare and communicate production documents, CDM plans, and safety plans.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines.
  • Provide leadership to onsite teams and manage third parties.
  • Conduct project reviews to ensure client satisfaction, deliverables, team performance, and cost control.
  • Follow up post-event to identify further support opportunities.
  • Lead and adhere to the company’s Health and Safety policies.

Client Relationship

  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Support business development through strategies, calls, and exhibitions.
  • Manage onsite client relationships, demonstrating flexibility and collaboration.
  • Adapt to changes and support the team and clients effectively.

Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of hire management systems.
  • Experience with Sketchup, Capture, CAD preferred.
  • Understanding of safe working practices.
  • Effective resource management skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of technical systems (Lighting, Sound, Video, Rigging, Scenic).
  • Valid driving license.
  • Proficient in digital communication tools like Microsoft Teams and email.
