Are you an experienced and dynamic relationship manager with a deep understanding of the private equity landscape? DBS London is looking for a Vice President to join our Financial Institutions coverage team, focusing on our critical Sponsor clients. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a key role in executing DBS's FIG strategy, proactively targeting new business, and managing existing relationships to secure sustainable income streams.

What you’ll do

  • Drive Growth: Deliver financial KPIs for new and existing business, contributing meaningfully to the annual FIG budget and achieving individual performance targets.
  • Cultivate Relationships: Develop and nurture new and existing FIG client relationships in line with Group strategy and risk appetite, acting as the primary contact point and ensuring the highest level of customer care.
  • Expand Our Reach: Introduce new Financial Sponsor clients to DBS and broaden product penetration with existing clients, focusing on Capital Calls / Subscription Lines and building holistic relationships across Global Financial Markets (GFM) and Global Transaction Services (GTS) product lines.
  • Strategic Execution: Identify, evaluate, execute, and monitor Fund Finance transactions, including asset level financing and capital markets opportunities.
  • Risk Management: Act as an effective first line of defence, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new clients, maintaining a robust approach to KYC reviews, and producing concise credit analysis for ongoing risk monitoring.
  • Collaborate for Success: Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across product partners, Legal, Compliance, Credit Risk, and industry teams globally.
  • Ensure Compliance: Operate within a robust Credit, Legal, and AML framework, adhering to DBS credit policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations (e.g., FCA, PRA, MAS).

What you’ll bring

  • Experience: Significant experience at a major financial institution in a similar role, with a strong background in corporate and/or investment banking related to Fund Finance or transaction structuring.
  • Expertise: A deep understanding of the structural aspects of deals, market trends, and risks. Excellent knowledge of financial markets products, including structured solutions and hedging.
  • Track Record: Proven ability to deliver lending products to funds and/or private equity-backed clients, with a strong track record of achieving targeted cross-sell.
  • Education: A degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and under tight deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Right to Work: You must have the right to work in the UK and do not require sponsorship now or in the future.
