Treasury Dealer
Location Liquidity Management (LLM) – Global Financial Markets, London Branch
The role is to assist the Vice President and Senior Vice President in the Location Liquidity Management (LLM) team, managing Global Financial Markets (GFM), Commercial bank funding and liquidity management activities.
Job Responsibilities
- Liquidity management – ensure the Branch liquidity position is managed within all regulatory and internally prescribed limits and metrics. Ensure sufficient liquidity position to facilitate the Branch’s lending activity.
- Short date cash flow management – optimise cash flow management within the DBS Group entities and external counterparties to ensure efficient use of the Bank’s liquidity across all traded currencies.
- Contribute to ongoing management of FTP for the London branch.
- Foreign Exchange – managed FX as required including customer activity for London ensuring all risks are within prescribed limits and appetite.
- Interest rate risk – manage IR sensitivities within prescribed limits and metrics.
- Contribute to effective management of UK’s HQLA portfolio.
- Carry out any other assignments as required by management.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 3 years International Bank Treasury experience.
- Experience in: ALM and liquidity management; PV01 and EVE management; IR and liquidity gap management; Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP).
- Demonstrate excellent business communication skills including writing, presenting and influencing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Regulatory knowledge with a focus on liquidity.
- Statistical and data modelling/analytics ability.
- Proficiency in Bloomberg.
