The HR Project Manager will work closely with the Head of HR, VP and Associate to drive operational excellence, strengthen risk management and deliver high quality HR support across our London office. This role is suited to a seasoned HR generalist who thrives in a fast-paced environment, embraces strong governance, and can independently lead initiatives that enhance process efficiency and the overall employee experience. The work requires strong project management capability and the delivery of high-quality work products. The role also requires regular engagement with HR colleagues in Singapore including participation in early morning calls (UK time) when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement & Third-Party Risk Management: Manage HR procurement cycles including vendor selection, contracting, and ongoing performance oversight. Ensure full adherence to DBS’ Third-Party Risk Management framework. Maintain a structured register of HR vendors, contracts, service scope, and performance metrics.
  • Audit Management: Partner closely with HR team and internal auditors to ensure accurate and appropriate documentation is provided when requested in a timely and confidential manner. Conduct regular audits internally within UK HR of execution of key processes. Identify control gaps, document findings, and partner with HR team to implement corrective actions and strengthen governance.
  • Operational Excellence & Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate HR processes to streamline workflows and elevate employee experience. Use HR data and analytics to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities. Champion technology adoption and automation to reduce manual tasks and strengthen HR service delivery.
  • General HR Operational Support: Provide HR operational support across the full employee lifecycle on ad hoc basis as required. Support benefit renewals and annual compensation benchmarking activities. Maintain accurate HR documentation and data within HRIS.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Extensive experience as a senior HR generalist with strong risk and compliance orientation.
  • Skills: Strong project leadership skills with the ability to deliver complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders. Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and strong problem-solving capability. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels. Proficiency with HRIS platforms (ideally Workday) and MS Office Suite.
