DBR Group, acting as a Recruitment Business, are recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver (electric vehicles)/Warehouse Operative to work at our client who are a household name in the Industrial Industry, in Chadderton, Manchester.
Our client was established in 1991, and they are a privately owned company.
They have three main depots that they operate from, Chadderton in Manchester, Dublin in the Republic of Ireland plus the Antrim site in Northern Ireland.
They have become established as a well-respected supplier to numerous blue-chip healthcare and pharmaceutical companies.
They provide both line haul and direct distribution to medical wholesalers, distributors, hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies daily.
They have decades of experience in servicing the Chemical Industry with carriage to and from Ireland, The Isle of Man, Channel Islands and locally within the UK.
As a FLT counterbalance/Warehouse Operative driver you will assist in the timely and accurate preparing and loading of customers orders.
You will also be involved in other Warehouse aspects; this will include cleaning duties (Pharma Site).
This role is based on a 12-week Temporary to Permanent position.
Duties
Driving and operating the FLT Counterbalance (electric vehicles) Unloading vehicle Loading trailers Moving of materials Checking loads are secure Pump Truck Experience, moving palletised goods in the warehouse into the vehicles, general warehouse duties You will also be involved in other Warehouse aspects as well as the FLT, this will include cleaning duties (Pharma Site) Manual handling involved Adhering to health and safety regulations Following written instructions and keeping records
