DBR Group, acting as an employment business are recruiting experienced Class 1 drivers for our client on Stake Hill Industrial Estate. This client uses DBR Group for Ad-hoc work and on-going work. However, this client will be looking to offer 12-week Temp to Perm positions for the right driver. The Job Working as a professional Class 1 Night driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of caged products of tools and equipment to stores across the North of England, including the North-West and some parts of the North Wales border towns and on occasion in the North-East. Your maximum stores will be 5 per night, reducing to 3 if you are on the North-East run. You will occasionally return to the depot for a reload to go and do a local store that might not have fitted on your trailer. This could be in a pre-loaded 7.5t vehicle, for efficiency, paid at Class 1 rate. You will receive a full week of training, out with an experienced driver, to learn to process of delivering to a store during the night. An induction will take place on your first shift, including all H&S and a drugs and alcohol test, followed by a driving assessment. All fully paid.
