DBR Group, acting as a Recruitment Agency, are recruiting for an experienced Branch Logistics Manager (BLM) to work at our client who are a household name in the Industrial Industry, in Thurrock, Essex. Our client is now one of only four major paper and board merchants left in the UK. They are the UK and Ireland's leading independent paper and board supplier. Their massive emphasis on customer service sets out to provide a refreshing alternative to their competitors. They sell to customers who value high levels of stock, service excellence, independence of ownership and spirit, and upbeat attitudes. Their aim is to provide consistency of performance and value for money in all they do, with a highly personal touch. This is a direct permanent position.

Role Overview

This role will involve ensuring the smooth operation of the Warehouse and deliveries to and from the site. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the operation which is a 24 hour 5 days a week distribution business. You will be expected to lead by example and ensure all duties are fairly distributed amongst your team.

This role will include:

  • Daily Management of all staff including recruiting, training, motivating and overall guidance to achieve the goals of the business.
