DBR Group, acting as a Recruitment Agency, are recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to work at our client who are a household name in the Industrial Industry, in Radcliffe, Manchester. Our client provides high-quality, innovative, and sustainable cable management products and solutions to meet the needs of their customers, while maintaining a commitment to excellence, integrity, and environmental responsibility. This role is a full-time permanent position.

Duties:

  • Regular scheduled deliveries to the company’s wholesale customer base
  • Goods Vehicle Operation / Delivery Driving / FLT Operation
  • Deliver customer orders to schedule and quality demand
  • Operate a Forklift (training will be provided)
  • Operate safely within a warehouse and fleet environment
  • Meet the administration demand within a Warehouse/Delivery operation
  • Work with your Team to meet the Warehouse / Delivery Schedule
  • Ensuring that vehicles and loads are in a safe and operational condition
  • Breaking down palletised deliveries for customers (Hand Ball)
  • Multiple drop deliveries
  • Pack and load their vehicle
  • Support the Warehouse team as required

Requirements:

  • HGV Class 1 Licence
  • Clean UK driving licence
  • Current up to date CPC Licence
  • Current up to date Digital Tachograph Licence
  • Physical / mental aptitude for manual / mechanical work
  • Warehouse experience / work as part of a Team
  • Forklift Truck Licence / Experience (Training will be provided)
  • Ability to use IT databases / keyboard skills

Hours:

Working hours will be 45 hours over five-day shifts per week. This role is day-shift based.

Remuneration:

  • Competitive Salary + travel allowance
  • 25 days holiday per year + your birthday off + bank holidays
