Job Description
DBR Group, acting as a Recruitment Business, are recruiting for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to work at our client who are a household name in the Driving Industry, in Pendlebury, Manchester.
Our client lead in non-food sourcing and consolidation for hospitality reducing complexity and risk is at the heart of what they do. Utilising their global purchasing resources to buy responsibly and ethically, they source, consolidate and deliver essential non-food consumables to their customers in the hospitality industry via a national network of 9 operating branches, including their flagship National Distribution centre in Tamworth. They offer a choice of flexible ordering and delivery options, with dedicated customer service and account management teams that foster personal relationships and deliver unparalleled sector expertise. Working together for a sustainable future they are helping hospitality every day.
This role is a temporary position.
Duties:
Category C1 Entitlement (7.5 tonne Driver)
Valid CPC Licence
Valid Digital Tachograph Licence
Handball is involved
Multi-drop delivery of non-food items to coffee shops/restaurants
Adhere to all road traffic laws and regulations
Excellent tacho knowledge ref sound manual entry and driving hours compliance
Carrying out required daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance
Requirements:
Current C1 Licence
Current CPC Licence
Current Digital Tachograph Card
Experience is required
An effective team member who works well on their own initiative
Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work
Self-motivated with a positive attitude and extremely reliable
Excellent timekeeping and communication skills
Hours:
Monday to Friday - Days (5am/6am starts)
