DBR Group, acting as a Recruitment Business, are recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to work at our client who are a household name in the Driving Industry, in Stretford, Manchester.
Our client is now one of only four major paper and board merchants left in the UK. Their massive emphasison customer service sets out to providea refreshing alternative to their competitors.They sell to customers who value high levelsof stock, service excellence, independenceof ownership and spirit, and upbeat attitudes.Their aim is to provide consistency of performanceand value for money in all they do, with a highly personal touch.
This role is a temporary position.
Duties:
Operate a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently
Up to 1 to 5 drops per day
Adhere to all road traffic laws and regulations
Smart appearance, willing to learn and be trained up
Excellent tacho knowledge ref sound manual entry and driving hours compliance
Requirements:
Current and up to date CPC
Current Digital Tachograph Card
An effective team member who works well on their own initiative
Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work
Self-motivated with a positive attitude and extremely reliable
Excellent timekeeping and communication skills
Hours:
Days – Monday to Friday (6am starts)
Remuneration:
. £15.00 per hour
