DBR Group, acting as a Recruitment Business, are recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to work at our client who are a household name in the Driving Industry, in Stretford, Manchester. Our client is now one of only four major paper and board merchants left in the UK. Their massive emphasis on customer service sets out to provide a refreshing alternative to their competitors. They sell to customers who value high levels of stock, service excellence, independence of ownership and spirit, and upbeat attitudes. Their aim is to provide consistency of performance and value for money in all they do, with a highly personal touch. This role is a temporary position.
Duties:
- Operate a Class 1 vehicle safely and efficiently
- Up to 1 to 5 drops per day
- Adhere to all road traffic laws and regulations
- Excellent tachograph knowledge, reflex manual entry and driving hours compliance
Requirements:
- Current CPC Licence
- Current Digital Tachograph Licence
- An effective team member who works well on their own initiative
- Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and extremely reliable
- Excellent time-keeping and communication skills
Hours: Days - Monday to Friday (6am starts)
Remuneration: To be discussed.
