Globally, DBpixelhouse delivers and installs video, sound, lighting IT, services and technical solutions to live events, exhibitions, sporting events, and conferences. The principal purpose of the role is to prep equipment within the workshop, install, operate, and de-rig the equipment on site. Working on-site is required, especially during peak season, and the ideal candidate is expected to be flexible in their working time and committed to getting the job done. Late working and weekend work are a regular feature during our peak season of September/October. The role involves working from our warehouse in Tewkesbury and onsite in the UK, Europe, and occasionally in other territories around the globe. The company expects every individual to be fully flexible, adaptable, and to work across all departments when required. Full training on and off site will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Accurate preparation and stock recording of IT and audio-visual equipment inbound, outbound, and on location.
- Assist and support internal IT requirements, equipment, and staff support.
- Onsite client support, operation, installation, and de-rig of IT and audio-visual equipment.
- Assisting and training clients in the use of equipment.
- Adhere to all documented workshop procedures, maintaining efficient processes for equipment preparation and return of the equipment within the workshop.
- Continuously develop own understanding of DBpixelhouse equipment and take ownership of your own skill development.
- Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with Health and Safety regulations and any additional procedures required by DBpixelhouse both on-site and at the DBpixelhouse premises.
Key Personal Attributes:
- Willing to work weekday and weekend overtime when requested, often at short notice.
- Full driving license.
- Good inter-personal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines unsupervised on a day-to-day basis.
- IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
