The Digital Project Manager will join the Digital function at DBD International and play a key role in delivering strategic transformation initiatives that support the organisation’s global technology and data ambitions. This position will lead the coordination and implementation of outputs from an ongoing Digital/IT Operating Model review, ensuring alignment with DBD International’s operational priorities, governance framework, and long-term growth objectives. The role will also oversee the procurement, implementation, and delivery of a new enterprise data platform to enhance data capability, reporting, and business insight across the organisation.

The role requires strong stakeholder engagement across international teams and business functions, effective governance and supplier management, and the ability to drive delivery across complex technical and operational workstreams within a fast-paced, evolving environment.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Coordinate and manage the delivery of recommendations arising from a Digital/IT Operating Model review.
  • Support the transition from design into implementation, ensuring agreed improvements are embedded effectively.
  • Work with internal teams and external partners to mobilise new or revised digital capabilities where required.
  • Drive short-term operational improvements with clear ownership, timelines, and governance controls.
  • Ensure alignment between business priorities, technology delivery, and organisational objectives.
  • Lead the end-to-end procurement process for a new enterprise data platform.
  • Manage implementation activities including onboarding, integration, testing, deployment, and transition into business-as-usual operations.
  • Collaborate with technical, commercial, and operational stakeholders to define requirements and evaluate supplier solutions.
  • Oversee third-party delivery partners to ensure successful implementation outcomes.
  • Ensure appropriate controls are in place for security, compliance, and data governance.
  • Maintain effective programme governance including RAID management, reporting, and assurance activities.
  • Track budgets, dependencies, delivery milestones, and resource requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Digital, IT, and wider business teams.
  • Support decision-making through clear communication, reporting, and risk management.
  • Ensure delivery activities comply with internal standards, governance frameworks, and assurance requirements.

Formal Qualifications or Training

  • Proven experience delivering complex digital, IT, or transformation programmes.
  • Experience implementing operating model or organisational transformation initiatives within technology or digital environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and governance experience across multiple business functions.
  • Demonstrated experience leading procurement and implementation of enterprise technology platforms.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and delivery management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project delivery tools.
