You will be responsible for applying the PLAXIS software to model, analyse and interpret complex infrastructure interactions, working alongside a team of industry experts on large-scale, technically complex projects.
What you will be doing:
- Develop and deliver advanced PLAXIS geotechnical models to support infrastructure and engineering projects
- Analyse and interpret geotechnical data to provide robust, technically sound engineering solutions
- Produce clear and detailed technical reports, documenting modelling methodologies, results and recommendations
- Work collaboratively with civil engineers, geotechnical engineers, and project managers to ensure designs are technically feasible, safe and compliant with relevant standards
- Review technical specifications and project requirements, identifying potential risks and opportunities for improvement
- Apply your expertise in soil mechanics and SSI to solve complex engineering challenges
Formal qualifications or training:
- Proficiency in PLAXIS (2D/3D) and related geotechnical analysis tools
- Geotechnical Engineering skills - strong understanding of soil mechanics and structural-soil interaction (SSI)
